About Werner Bischof

Werner Bischof (1916 - 1954) was a Swiss photographer and photojournalist. As one of the first members of Magnum Photos, he was lauded for his style of humanist photography. He artistically and impactfully portrayed various cultures to encourage better understanding and exchange amongst peoples.

The photo of Kowloon Harbor is one of his most iconic.
