About David Alan Harvey
David Alan Harvey (b. 1944) is an American photographer based in North Carolina and New York City. He has photographed for many publications, including National Geographic and in 1978 he was named "Magazine Photographer of the Year" by The National Press Photographers Association. A member of Magnum since 1997, his work has been exhibited at museums including the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington D.C. and The Museum of Modern Art in New York.
