About Keith McCulloch

Keith McCulloch, born in Boston in 1939, studied art at Yale University and The Art Students League of New York before settling in Florida. His sublime landscapes, infused with a masterful balance of color and light, are widely collected and have received numerous awards.

“This is an oil done from a much smaller study. The original image was a photo loaned to me from a fellow painter and mentor, John Stanford. The study was an exercise using only red, yellow, blue, and white. It turned out quite nicely and sold right away. I tried this much larger version, and had a good time playing with the textures of the foliage.” - Keith McCulloch
