Bruno Ceccobelli (born 1952) is an Italian painter and sculptor associated with the Nuova Scuola Romana, which grew out of the Art Povera movement. His artwork is collected and exhibited worldwide.
Troveresti, with it’s rich earthy colors and composition, is typical of his beautifully provocative art. In the 1980’s heyday of the New York art scene, Cecceobelli and his fellow Italian painters, Sandro Chia and Francisco Clemente, gained international accolades, which continues to this day.
